Easting too much dessert sometimes makes me feel guilty because of the amount of sugar that is in it. So, I decided to try out baking a chocolate cake without sugar and replace it with maple syrup. It is surprisingly delicious! The chocolate cake itself can be quite feeling, so be careful when cutting your piece… 🙂 Enjoy baking!

INGREDIENTS
2 pcs Eggs
50 g Butter, room temperature
6 tbsp Maple syrup
¾ cup Oatmeal milk/almond milk
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
100 ml Oatmeal powder
100 g Cocoa powder
4 g Baking powder
Pinch of salt
Whipped Cream
200 ml Whipped cream
1 tbsp Maple syrup
1 pack Cream stiff powder
Topping
Strawberry

DIRECTION
- Pre-heat oven for 180 degree Celsius and prepare a small round form with diameter 16 cm with baking pepper on the bottom.
- Using a hand/electric mixer, mix all ingredients together until it’s well combined.

- Place the batter in the form and let it bake for 20-25 minutes in the oven.

- Let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, use the electric mixer or hand mixer and whip the cream until it’s hardened.

- Spread the whipped cream on the chocolate cake, top it with strawberries or any fruits of your favorite.
